Mr Awad is very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and passionate about metabolic / bariatric surgery. He is approachable and explains everything in simple terms. He is honest and upfront about the benefits and risks of surgery, allowing patients to make an informed decision. You never feel judged and there is no such thing as a silly question. Everything is explained clearly each step of the journey. Information leaflets are also provided to refer back to. In addition, letters are provided for your GP pre and post surgery. Very efficient service provided. I am two days post op and so far would highly recommend Mr Awad.

Do not hesitate to get in touch, they are helpful, kind and the care everyone gives you from the start is just the very best and the after care is ongoing for as long as you need , there is nothing they will not do to help you with. I was worried about being pushed into an operation, but you are not, they give you all the advice then leave it to you to decide. If you do chose to go with Dr Awad and his team, you will only get the very best treatment help and support , I am two and a half months down the line from my operation and it has been a positive experience all the way, I am so glad I had my procedure with this doctor and his entire team. They are the best.

From the very first consultation with Mr Awad he made me feel comfortable and at ease. He actively listened to my questions and fears, and reassured and advised me on the best course of action for me to get the metabolic results I needed. I had a gastric sleeve performed at the pines hospital in Manchester 4 days ago. I had lovely caring staff throughout my stay, and the whole process was seemless and extremely positive.

Highly recommended Mr Awad. Very friendly, approachable, answered all of my questions and concerns. On the day of my operation Mr Awad and his team put me at ease whilst being very professional in their approach. Great follow up care with Mr Awad attending the following morning to check in with me and being available if needed via telephone. Booked surgery through Tonic Surgery, who were efficient and friendly from the first call and have continued to be. Excellent after care with their dietician, personal trainer, bariatric nurse and follow up team - nothing is too much trouble. Surgery undertaken at Burcot Hall Hospital, Bromsgrove. At all stages of the process everyone was so friendly, helpful and attentive, would recommend. Finally for anyone thinking of having Bariatric surgery - it is a big surgery, it is life changing in many ways, but it is so worth it. It honestly was nowhere near the pain I thought it was going to be, more uncomfortable if anything, which didn't last long. Now 12 weeks on, I am pleased with the results so far and enjoying the journey I'm on
