Having being overweight most of my life, l was so unhappy and didn’t have much of a social life. Tried all the fad diets with little to no success. I had considered wls for a long time and really researched. I found Mr Al-Khyatt. He answered all my questions and made me feel very comfortable and confident. The Tonic team and Mr Al-Khyatt have been fantastic with their support, check ups and advice. I have been transformed and becoming a better, healthier version of myself. Highly recommend!

Really excellent experience. I couldn’t be happier. I had a gastric sleeve in May 23 at Derby Tonic Private Care under Mr Al-Khyatt and from start to finish I’ve had a great experience. Mr Al-Khyatt made me relaxed and confident and explained the surgery risks and benefits and possible outcomes. I’ve lost over 7st in 6 months and would recommend Mr Al-Khyatt if you are thinking of surgery.

Mr Al-Khyatt is a truly lovely person and a great surgeon. Everytime we've spoken he's been very calming and makes sure you're well informed before you have to take any decisions. I had my consultation with Mr Al-Khyatt mid-april 2023, 2 weeks later I was on his operating table having a gastric sleeve operation. He visited me pre-op and explained the procedure, he then checked on me twice after the operation. The recovery was relatively quick with minimal scaring. I'm 7 months post op and 10st lighter, I owe this achievement to Mr Al-Khyatt and I can't recommend him enough. Thank you!

Fantastic surgeon a mind what a lovely man, Mr Al-Khyatt really cares about what he does and his patients I just had my review with him and he made me cry but in the best possible way, he said he was proud of me and my results. I have lost my target of 69% of my excess weight but not in the year it should have taken, in just 7.5 months Thanks again Mr Al-Khyatt you are amazing

Dr Waleed Al-Khyatt has been amazing from start to finish. He was thorough with all my options before I went for my weightloss surgery and answered all my questions. He was very reassuring and I believe he did everything to benefit my health in the best way possible. I'm now 15 months post-op and have had no complications and Dr Waleed Al-Khyatt has been brilliant throughout the whole experience. I would 100% trust and recommend him.

Can’t describe how much my life has changed for the better, all thanks to Mr. Al-Khyatt. He was professional, candid, compassionate and left no question unanswered. His care pre and post operation has been exemplary and thorough. He has sign posted me as needed and given encouragement and positive vibes. I’ve just had my 8 month post op check and again he was fab.

So i am 10 months on from my surgery with Mr Al-Kyatt. Not only is he the sweetest and kindest of men who so puts you at ease but what he has done for me is life changing. It was never about looking slim for me it was about getting healthy and I am now. The care I received pre, during and post op has been outstanding. Absolutely recommend him.

Caring, empathic, non-judgmental and has a great bedside manner. From first consultation to aftercare calls eight months post op he's been amazing. My scars are tiny, weight loss has been consistent and I don't regret one minute of this journey.
