From the moment I engaged the clinic and Sam I have had a wonderful and professional experience. I had torn cartilage in my knee and after the surgery I walked out of the clinic completely confident and stress free. All of the advice and talking through the procedures and recommendations were very simply explained and then followed through with calm and confidence. This then gave me the feeling and calm that I had made a good decision in having Sam be my surgeon. All of the advice I have been given post surgery has been great and simple and followed the pattern that was explained to me which has been great in knowing what to expect and how to manage my recovery. Thank you Sam.

Dr Rajaratnam came across as a very experienced and knowledgeable doctor who explained all options very clearly and couldn't be more reassuring and supportive prior, during and post surgery. Couldn't recommend him enough!

I would not hesitate to recommend Mr Rajaratnam, as a patient my care was first class and I have recovered from my surgery without any problem. I also have the privilege of working with Sam sometimes in theatre, he takes the greatest care of all of his patients, he is very particular and thorough when operating. If you should need help and find yourself in his clinic be assured you are in the best hands. Sam works at The Horder Centre and The Schoen Clinic where he has built up excellent teams to ensure his high standards are maintained.

After having 5 arthroscopies in 5 years by an orthopaedic surgeon who said that I was "too young" to have a knee replacement, I decided to seek a second opinion. I researched orthopaedic surgeons on the Internet, and decided that Sam was the man for me. I have to say I really hit the jackpot. When I first saw him, he immediately said that I needed both knees replaced - I could have kissed him, as I was so relieved that someone was finally listening to me. He replaced my knees in 2020, and I have never looked back. I can swim, cycle and hike without any pain, and I have my life back thanks to Sam. The treatment I had at the Horder Centre was outstanding, from the nursing care to the encouragement of the physios, and also the cheerfulness of the staff who brought my meals and replaced my water three times a day. Sam is an amazing man, he is gentle, attentive and thoroughly professional, and he has an amazing team who help you at every stage of your journey. As a former radiographer, I have had dealings with many orthopaedic surgeons, and have developed a great deal of respect for Sam. I would highly recommend him to anyone - he is the best in the field, and he deserves the reputation that he has achieved.
