I needed cataract surgery and as a nervous patient I obviously wanted a pain and stress free procedure. At the initial consultation Mr Salvi put me at my ease by explaining to me exactly what was going to happen and how my sight would be improved. Given my nervousness he suggested that perhaps being sedated might be best for me. On the day of the procedure the anesthetist Dr Victoria Wilson then explained how I would be sedated, the drugs to be used and the recovery time. The procedure went fantastically well with no pain and no anxiety whatsoever. I must confess I have no memory of it but apparently I talked throughout. Afterwards I felt great and my eyesight has indeed dramatically improved. Big thank you to everyone involved, especially Mr. Salvi...genius.

I had my cataracts performed within five weeks of each other at Claremont Hospital by the consultant eye specialist, Mr. Sachin Salvi. He was fantastic. I cannot praise his care enough from the initial consultation to the operations to the post care clinics. Everything went quite fluidly. He was extremely knowledgeable: explaining the procedures, reassuring every concern I put forward to him and what I liked about him was how he kept saying how brilliantly I was doing throughout the operations! That was a big plus! I can't believe the transformation of my eyesight now: white is dfinitely white, wow! I would highly recommend him without any doubt.

My 88 year old dad required a Cicatrical Ectropion operation to his right eye which is an out turning of the eyelid where the eyelid looks extremely red, sore and dad was experiencing a stream of tears. We were able to book a consultation appointment quickly and the procedure was also completed promptly. Mr Salvi explained a skin graft taken from behind the ear was required and reconstructed under the eye which would remove the soreness and also enable the eye to close properly. Mr Salvi was very professional, patient, took time to explain the procedure and answer any questions. Two weeks later we returned for the stitches to be removed. The skin graft has healed and looks great. Dad is delighted and surprised there is little bruising remaining. We would recommend Mr Salvi as an expert in his field.

My Salvi conducted a chalazion procedure on my lower eye lid. I found his approach very informative and also brought a level of trust that my procedure would turn out successfully. The procedure turned out exceptionally well and literally no evidence of the procedure i.e. bruising.
