I am extremely pleased with my cataract surgery. I had both eyes done at the same time and it is magic to be able to see so well. The Claremont Hospital in Sheffield was great in every way. Mr Salvi performed my upper blepharoplasty surgery on the 22nd June and the results are nothing short of a miracle by far exceeded my expectations, I had a lot of loose skin sat on my eye lids causing my eye to close and effecting my peripheral vision. It is amazing I can now see my eyes and life is looking brighter,. I was nervous for the surgery as it was on my face but Mr Salvi’s knowledge professionalism and passion made me feel at ease. Mr Salvi is kind, patient, approachable and very experienced, his talent shines through. Thank you for making such a big difference to my life. I had seen Mr Salvi a few years ago so when I needed cataract surgery I did look at other options but quickly decided to see Mr Salvi again. From the first consultation I was confident I made the correct choice. Mr Salvi was very professional but also very friendly I felt totally at ease. The surgery went very smoothly and it was evident how skilled Mr Salvi is during the surgery. I have no hesitation in recommending him, I am delighted with the results.

I was extremely apprehensive about having my cataract surgery, Mr Salvi put me at ease and all went very well. I had the second cataract done a few weeks later and I am very pleased with the outcome. Mr Salvi listened to all my concerns and put me at ease at all times. At my first follow up appointment Mr Salvi informed me he had removed the stitch, which surprised me as I didn't realise I had had a stitch. Didn't feel a thing. The theatre staff were all friendly making the whole procedure reassuring. The second cataract procedure went exactly as the first. Thank you Mr Salvi. I would certainly recommend him.

Surgery on the eye is bound to be a delicate procedure and therefore somewhat nerve-wracking but I was put at ease by both the surgeon himself and the entire hospital team. I had both cataracts removed at the very early stages of glaucoma and have been delighted at the result. I would happily consider Mr. Salvi for further surgery should it be necessary in future.

I was very concerned about undertaking the surgery as it was required on my one seeing eye. However, the clinical diagnosis from Mr Salvi was delivered honestly and patiently, with risks of doing or not doing explained clearly and with some conviction. The procedure was carried out with the skill to be expected from a surgeon of his reputation, and Mr Salvi, the theatre team, and all the staff at Spire Claremont gave me confidence that I was in good hands. It's early days, but all seems to be going according to plan post surgery.

Mr Salvi did a great job not only in theatre but also at the consultation and follow up making me feel comfortable and confident about the whole process. I was in no doubt that he would do the absolute best for me.
