Mr. Salvi was responsible for performing my bilateral cataract surgery over the course of a couple of months this year (2019). After an initial consultation where my eyes were thoroughly checked and the complete procedure explained by Mr. Salvi, both cataracts were removed under local anaesthetic. Mr Salvi also conducted follow up eye tests to make sure my eyes were healing as they should. I always found Mr. Salvi to be polite and professional, he was concerned about my recovery and my eyesight. He made me feel as at ease as he could during the procedure despite me not being an ideal patient. He had great patience with me and my difficulties.

A great job on a right eyelid tightening and opening of tear duct (right lateral canthopexy and 3 snip puncto-conaliculopasty) to treat a watery eye. Explained the whole process very clearly and did a very neat job with the surgery.

Mr Salvi is an extremely knowledgeable consultant who corrected the ptosis in my left eye. This is a condition whereby the eye lid begins to droop down covering the eye. This is corrected by tightening the muscles under the eye lid. I would highly recommend this procedure and would also highly recommend Mr Salvi.

My cataract operation was amazing, fantastic and life changing. Mr Salvi from the first consultation was informative with essential medical information and a friendly reassurance for an important operation. The procedure was clearly explained with written notes for further assistance. I opted for a special Symphony lense. The hospital staff and accommodation was A1. Mr Salvi's personal conversation before the operation was comforting and helpful as what to expect. The operation was short with little discomfort. Throughout the procedure he talked me through each stage which was a great support. After the operation the eye felt somewhat gritty but you could see immediately. Drops were given to aid recovery and Mr Salvi saw me 1 week later. I had my second eye operated on 5 weeks later. It was the same procedure and the resulting vision is unbelievable. I feel wonderful. My eye sight has been restored and everything is bright and the colours are vibrant. How wonderful it is to have my sight restored. I have nothing but praise for Mr Salvi he is a consultant with sound medical knowledge but with a friendly and comforting disposition. I have had an excellent result with great thanks to Mr Salvi.
