Mr Laing has operated twice on my spine and I have had complete confidence in him on both occasions. Friendly, professional, approachable and very skilled.

Brilliant consultation via teams . It was simple to use and the consultation quality was first rate . Mr Laing was prepared for the consultation and he listened and explained everything so well and clearly . I felt confident in his views and I really liked is no nonsense sensible approach to advising me and answering my questions . I felt so much better just talking to him and getting his experienced views.

Mr Laing is such a kind and compassionate person. I feel privileged that he did my spinal surgery. He was very thorough and explained very well to me before the surgary. Even after care is brilliant too. Yesterday I had my first follow up appointment with him after my surgery three weeks ago, but he is going to see me again after 3 months to make sure I am well. ! I also would like to mention Mr Laing’s secretary Annie, she is such an asset to Mr Laing. Nothing is too much trouble for her, she definitely is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met in my life.

Mr Laing recently performed a lumber spinal decompression which was very successful. This is my third operation with Mr Laing covering different areas of my spine over a number of years. Each time the procedures have been successful and resolved my spinal issues. He explains everything thoroughly and is willing to listen to his patients needs. I had full trust and faith in his surgical procedures, and would recommend him to anyone requiring his service.

My husband and I were warmly greeted by Mr Laing for our consultation. He gave me a very compassionate and considered assessment, and came across as a very humble specialist still after many years of experience. I am in awe of his expertise in this field of cervical myelopathy, and feel very blessed to have him offer to operate on my neck at this point in time . Mr Laing was able to give me hope for the future about my capabilities after surgery where my NHS surgeon previously couldn’t.
