in a two-stage 10-hour procedure Robert Lee extended a previous fusion operation (done by a different surgeon) and reestablished the proper lumbar curvature. My spine now feels like it fits me the way it did 25y ago and I am walking more naturally than I have done for years and, best of all, pain free. As well as working at the very highest levels of his profession he has a lovely easy manner, is super-considerate, and patiently listens and answers questions.

As a retired Doctor I need to feel confident in the Clinical ability of the Specialist. I also need to feel comfortable in their presence. I had the utmost confidence in Mr Lee both clinically and as a person. I had to undergo fairly major back surgery which I was quite anxious about. He gave me the confidence to go ahead. From the moment I met Dr Lee I knew I could place complete faith in him. Having experienced multiple spinal issues over 20 years, I have been under the care of various consultants and specialists. Dr Lee is by far the most calming, reassuring and knowledgeable spinal specialist I have met. He immediately understood my complex issues and was able to advice a sensible pathway regarding management, treatment and recovery. When I eventually required surgery, Dr Lee was calming but forthright. I had no issues with placing absolute trust in him, and would not hesitate do so again in the future should the situation arise. I will forever be in his debt for solving what was a rather nasty situation.
