Mr Berber inspired confidence in the patient
His ability to listen and collect all the symptoms before offering a course of action and process of investigation was outstanding
His communication skills enabled the patient to understand their condition at their own level.He even drew diagrams to assist understanding!
Mr Berber was so positive in his enthusiasm for his job
You would never know the health service was going through challenging times from a consultation with this man
I came home feeling empowered into recovery mode!

Mr Reshid Berber is an amazing orthopaedic consultant/surgeon and I feel very lucky to have had him to do my knee replacement! He is friendly and made me feel at ease! He listens and always shows an interest in what I have been doing! He explains everything clearly so I understood what was going to happen or has happened! It is obvious he loves his work and he made me feel very special as he praised my hard work to make a good recovery! He said “ I’m very proud of you,” and that made me feel the hard work was worth it and motivated me to keep going! Thank you very much Mr Berber and all your team for excellent care!

Mr Berber simply could not have been more helpful both in the consultation period and the actual operation.
Mr Berber is very good at listening and seems to give the patient time, at no point do you feel rushed. I arrived at my room and within 10 minutes Mr Berber had arrived to reassure me which I felt was brilliant attention to detail.
My knee replacement is terrific and credit to a very good surgeon.

I just had knee replacement and couldn't thank him enough he has done a fantastic job for me gave me my life back as I was struggling so much to walk and in pain . Dr berber listened to me and he couldn't have done any more ...highly recommended thanks.

Mr Reshid Berber is a fellowship-trained Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a specialist interest in Hip and Knee Replacement Surgery. His NHS practice is based at Nottingham University Hospitals and his private practice is based at The Park Hospital, BMI Healthcare Nottingham.
Mr Berber graduated from University College London, and trained in London before moving to the East Midlands where he undertook specialist training on the highly regarded training programmes across both Nottingham and Leicester.
Mr Berber was awarded a PhD from University College London, for completing a programme of internationally recognised research based at the prestigious Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore. Mr Berber has published numerous peer-reviewed scientific articles and has received numerous awards in recognition of his research activities. Mr Berber is a dedicated faculty member on a number of national and international teaching courses.
