I had the aquablation procedure at the Nuffield Hospital. I can’t rate Mr Kaba highly enough, not only for his professionalism as a surgeon, but also his patience and understanding. I could not have asked for more.

23/06/25 I had appointment with Urology dept & was surprised to meet Mr Kaba. He then explained I had a Prostrate problem. He was kind & very informative. Explaining that I had to have a catheter, something I did not even know about. I have had various appointments with Mr Kaba and at each of these appointments he was very sympathetic & understanding whilst informing me of my situation. He was very tolerant with me as I became very stressed having to wait for a procedure! He even took the time to try and find an alternative procedure which he intended to carry out reducing my waiting time. He arranged an MRI scan which unfortunately showed that my prostrate was physically too small for him to use the alternative procedure. Again after these results at the following appointment Mr Kaba could see I was very upset but he explained reasons sympathetically that I would have to continue waiting for the operation. For me I consider that I was so very fortunate to have had Mr Kaba as my surgeon he is certainly the best surgeon that Warwickshire & Uk have Mr Barry Fitzpatrick

Excellent understanding of condition and concerns. Let me know if what to expect post-operatively and gave timely follow-up calls to check progress. Overall an excellent, professional service and would highly recommend. The only negative in my care was the communications between the NHS and private care organisation that, to a large extent, are outside of the surgeon’s control.
