Self-paying repeat Inguinal hernia repair. I had previously had two open inguinal hernia repairs on the same side 30 years apart which took a long time to recover from and as I now had an additional neurological condition I was keen to have a TEP repair if this was possible. After undertaking a significant amount of research to find a highly qualified and experienced consultant who operated from a hospital that had onsite HDU/ICP facilities and was relatively close to where I live I selected Mr Oliver Warren. From making the appointment with his PA to the initial consultation where we discussed my health and how Oliver proposed to fix the hernia to the actual operation and post operative care I could not offer higher praise. Mr Warren was personable and actively listened throughout providing a clear explanation of what he proposed to do and responding to the questions I raised about returning to golf and other activities after the operation. Oliver understood my preference to remain in The Lister hospital overnight to ensure that my neurological condition remained stable. I would have no hesitation in commending Oliver to others based on my very positive personal experience

Oliver was very clear about everything from diagnosis to nature of the treatment and had a welcome predisposition to prevention rather than a reliance on curing. The treatment was very successful, as he suggested it would be, and he was able to remove any peripheral worries about other symptoms at the same time.

I was seen by Mr Warren in December 23 for advice about an incisional hernia which appeared one year after having an emergency bowel surgery in December 22. The NHS waiting list was up to two years and family helped to fund the procedure privately. Mr Warren was very reassuring and explained he would fix the hernia with a mesh and I would probobaly need a two night stay in hospital. He came to check up on me the next day to examine me and tell me all was well and did I need to ask anything. I can’t praise the treatment enough and after a six week follow up have been given the call clear with the wound healed and can start to live life to the full again It’s been such a relief to have someone listen to my concerns and explain exactly how things would be done. Thank you Mr Oliver Warren!

A few months ago, I had the privilege of being treated by Dr. Warren for a procedure related to a band. Since then, I've experienced significant improvement in my condition, which has positively impacted my overall quality of life.
