I was referred to Mr Warren following an NHS appointment but decided for various reasons to go private. My operation was performed at the Lister hospital and I consider the financial outlay to have been money well spent. Visits to Mr Warren pre and post surgery were very pleasant, informative and thorough and the operation itself was carried out swiftly and extremely professionally. I have no hesitation in recommending Mr Warren to anyone considering hernia surgery.

Mr Warren has a pleasant, understanding manner but at the same time exudes a reassuring air of professionalism and competence. The hernia repair which he carried out on me was successful and I experienced far less pain than expected in the immediate aftermath of the surgery.

I met Mr Warren for the first time in July 2022, first he explained in great detail excatly what he could do for me and how he would do it. He then made it clear what he needed from me to ensure a successful outcome. I particularly liked his comment about how he always ensured success, "my careful and detailed planning" Mr Warren performed the operation in the Lister Hospital on the 3rd November 2022. It has been a great success, It has relieved the major pains I suffered from, I have been able to eliminate the pain killer I took, and in short it has given me my life back. No words can express my gratitude and that "detailed planning" certainly made it work. The professionalism, the skills and the courtesy shows why Mr Warren is world class.

Oliver is a Consultant Colorectal, Intestinal and Hernia Surgeon at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, The London Clinic and The Lister Hospital. He has a high-volume practice in coloproctology and is a JAG accredited colonoscopist. He has an interest in hernias, including complex abdominal wall reconstruction. He performs over 50 colorectal resections per year, the vast majority using 'keyhole' surgery.
Prior to becoming a consultant surgeon he undertook colorectal surgery fellowships at St. Mark's Hospital, London and the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney. He was a visiting fellow at the Cleveland Clinic, USA.
Oliver is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at Imperial College London and has written numerous scientific papers and book chapters on medical leadership, patient safety and surgical education. He is the co-author of the book 'Going into Hospital: A guide for patients, families and carers'.
