Mr Nicholas (Nick) Hobbs guided me through a lot of my surgery process and I can’t recommend him enough. He was very attentive, patient, caring and made me feel very comfortable (even during the uncomfortable bits of the process)!

Dr Hobbs was involved in all parts of my surgery, we initially had a video consultation where he explained the whole surgery process with me in detail and answered any questions I had. Then at my pre-op appointment he continued to be friendly and professional, any further concerns I had he made sure I was comfortable for the upcoming surgery and I was able to keep in contact with the team via email. On my surgery day I spoke with him before and after and he made sure to discuss the plans for the surgery again and check I was comfortable afterwards. After my surgery the team told me about any complications to look out for and explained my post-op care in detail, they also let me know the surgery went very well which helped with any post-op anxieties. Then I had my dressings removed which was also done by Dr Hobbs and again my post-op care was explained in detail and any further questions I have I'm able to contact him via email. I hope to speak to him again for my 6 month checkup and I highly recommend him and the amazing Manchester team to anyone considering top surgery.

I had consultations with Dr. Hobbs online via video and in clinic at north Manchester general hospital before my surgery, and after. He thoroughly went over what my procedure would involve and took time to answer my questions and was very kind and professional. I had double incision with free nipple graft surgery at Trafford general hospital on the 10th may and I’m very happy with the work he has done, I couldn’t of hoped for better results than what I have and I’m so thankful and grateful with the outstanding work he has done, he’s also very friendly with a warm smile that would set anyone at ease, thank you for changing my life!

I met with Nick on the day of my surgery. He was absolutely lovely, made conversation to put me at ease, while he drew all over my chest in sharpie to mark me up for surgery. I was, like any other sane person, scared to death at the prospect of having such a scary operation. He was polite and charming. I found the entire team down to earth and warm. Nick performed the surgery along with Kate Williams. Brilliant team, exceptional results. I am so pleased with how I look. On returning to the hospital for a review and having dressings removed, Nick came to assess the results, he was exceptionally pleased. Would highly recommend this team, they not only know what they are doing, but they get why they are doing this. This is a huge issue for Trans guys, it is the final climb up the mountain for me, I feel they carried me right to the top. Thanks all of you! If you can afford to pay private, please chose this team! ,
