Reviewed Dr Battachayra before choosing him to carry out a hernia repair. Couldn't have chosen a better surgeon. Plus he's very polite, and listens to your concerns & explains in detail the way of carrying out the necessary work. My op was a success & I had a speedy recovery - couldn't have chosen better.

He was great at explaining the op in detail along with the risks and also popped in the morning of the op to make sure I was OK and clear on what was going to happen. He also advised me on how to reduce risk through a pre op diet. The op went really well solved the pain I had suffered for over a year . The scars are minimal and I think will be invisible with time.

I was referred by my GP due to suspected hernia diagnosis following an ultra scan. I felt very comfortable immediately the consultant. He asked questions about my symptoms currently and historic. He listened and took notes. He made me feel confident in his abilities. He then explained the different types of hernia and the options available. After his examination he picked up another potential hernia to the right side. He organised a further ultra sound so he had the full facts. I only had to wait 5 weeks for the operation. All aspects of my experience was excellent. I have now been discharged with advice on how to best return to my previous activity rrgime. Thank You
