I found Mr Karthik Karuppaiah very helpful, understanding and when an MRI Scan of my shoulder identified another possible medical problem, which delayed my shoulder operation by 6 months and involved me having exploratory procedures. A chance meeting with Mr Karuppaiah in the recovery room at the hospital, he suggested that if the results came back clear to contact his PA to rearrange my shoulder replacement. The operation was a complete success and I've been extremely happy with the outcome, and the after care I have received in his clinic has excellent.

I had been suffering with carpal tunnel for 20 years, on and off, in both my hands. Mr Karuppaiah was very understanding, considerate and explained everything very clearly about the surgery and what I would need to do after the surgery. He operated on my right hand in May 2018 and my left hand in November 2018, so far I have been free from the carpal tunnel pain.

Having been diagnosed with a Distal Biceps Tendon rupture by another consultant, I was referred to Mr. Karuppaiah to perform surgery. Having already been made aware of the relative urgency of carrying out the surgery, my first meeting with Mr. Karuppaiah was relatively short. However, Mr. Karuppaiah explained the risks to me once again in a clear and easy to understand manner and responded to any queries I had confidentially. Generally, Mr. Karuppaiah instilled confidence that he was the right person for the job. Surgery was performed the following week and all went to plan. I was also please that the scar was much smaller than I had anticipated. In both follow-up consultations, Mr. Karuppaiah checked my progress with both the injury and rehabilitation with the physiotherapist and I am pleased to say that now, four months after the surgery, I have regained full use of my arm. I cannot thank him enough and would not hesitate to recommend him.
