I am a middle aged, unathletic but reasonably active female. After suffering quite severe pain in my knee for a couple of months, my GP referred me to Mr Bell at the Wimbledon Clinic, and I am so glad that she did so. He diagnosed a meniscus tear, which was confirmed by a scan, and was very thorough in discussing the options for treatment. I decided to have an arthroscopy, which was done under general anaesthetic on a day patient basis. After the operation I had little pain and now, only two and a half weeks later, I am making good progress. I feel much better than I expected and am having follow up sessions with the excellent physio, Kevin Thomas, recommended to me by Mr Bell. I hope and expect to be back to my usual routine of long dog walks and gardening before too long. Overall a very good experience.

My experience with Mr Bell was great. Time was taken to explain the nature of my injury and the rectification. His professional and careing approach made you at ease and gave me confidence for the future after the surgery. His whole team including Ellie (his secretary) where so proffesional and accomidating a pleasure to be in such good hands. To anyone that requires knee surgery or a second opinion Mr Bell and his team are the only ones to ask for. In closing a highly professional,careing and well Mannered Doctor with great communication skills who puts the Patient first and at ease. Truly Proffesional.
