Mr Webb listened to my concerns before the operation and was very clear re the risks and possible problems. As someone with Type 1 diabetes he explained the higher risk of infection and that my diabetes had to be well controlled in order to have the hip replacement. The 2 week post operation check was very reassuring that all was well. Mr Webb also picked up on an allergic reaction I had to the plaster, so the wound was left uncovered. The only comment I would make on how he could improve is that for a less confident patient it might be hard to voice their concerns, but for me I was listened to really well.

I read all of the other reviews and I totally agree with all of the comments! It comes as absolutely no surprise to me that they were all 5* reviews. During my initial consultation with Mr (Dr) Webb, I repeatedly turned to my wife with an incredulous look on my face because the news was so good. When we got back into our car I told my wife that I felt like I had "hit the lottery". After 2 total hip replacements later, I most definitely feel like I hit the lottery! I thank my lucky stars for finding the path to Dr Webb's vast expertise!

Mr. Jason Webb is a highly recommended experienced surgeon, who is not only an expert in his field but also communicated clearly with me, checking I had understood, even when drowsy from the after effects of anaesthesia. His patient care included seeing me late at night after my afternood hip replacement, with suggestions for improved comfort, and again before 7 am the next morning. His advice on the NHS referral pathway has been of great value.
