Mr Hewes made me feel very comfortable and explained everything re bariatric surgery options in detail. He listened to my questions and answered them in full. Mr Hewes asked my opinion re which surgical outcome I would prefer and explain the procedures and possible complications. I felt at ease and in very safe hands I would highly recommend Mr Hewes.

Appointment was not just on time but slightly early. He listened properly and explained the procedure very clearly and was not at all patronising or lofty. Extremely calm, professional and exudes confidence in his field.

When the system and administration of my care let me down Mr Hewes stepped in and helped me out. He is a credit to your hospital and even though I was sent home from my first surgery due to the administrators not having my notes, he made me a priority for the next available surgery. His skills have given me a new lease of life. Although it was not a life threatening issue the surgery has transformed my life. I can only imagine it's like living with a disability and the being cured to live a full normal life. Please pass on my personal thanks to this wonderful man.
