I am so happy to have had my partial knee replacement carried out by Mr Young and his team at the Nuffield, Tunbridge Wells. I was so well looked after before, during and after the operation. As a keen gardener and walker it is as though scaffolding has been replaced allowing me to walk confidently ( and without that limp! ) at last. Thanks to all involved in my treatment and rehab.

Mr Young really listened to me and had an integrative approach, where he didn’t just focus on my knee issues but other symptoms throughout my body as well. My experience has been that it’s very rare to find a specialist who works in this way and I hugely appreciate it, because after two years of immobility I now feel my case is being handled with care and is going in the right direction. I have recently undergone a partial medial meniscectomy and removal of loose chondral bodies on my left knee . After five years of pain I’m now walking without the aid of a walking stick and looking forward to hiking in the mountains with my family once again. I can honestly say that from my first contact with Mr Young and the wonderful people at Nuffield, Tunbridge Wells I felt totally at ease. I found everyone helpful , understanding and considerate . I am a 61-year-old former rugby player and now golfer. My knee had torn meniscus and had become quite painful. I had knee surgery with Dr.Young on Jan 6 2021at Nuffield hospital. From start to finish, the process was seamless. My knee feels so much better and I am able to workout again.. I would recommend Dr. Young and his staff to anyone needing any type of orthopedic surgery! Thanks again Dr. Young, Tess, and staff.
