I saw Dr Thomas when I was diagnosed with breast cancer and he was extremely kind, caring and compassionate, as well as professional. He explained the procedures that would follow and offered me a choice of operation (lumpectomy or mastectomy), as well as the aftercare that would follow after surgery. On the day of the surgery, he came to see me and explained the procedure once more and I felt very much at ease and trusted him totally. At my follow-up appointment, Dr Thomas explained how well the operation had gone and broke the wonderful news that the cancer had been totally removed. Again, he explained the treatment that would follow and was happy to answer any questions I had. I also know that once my wounds have healed, over time, the scars will be very minimal and I'm grateful too that he operated on me with such care. I can only praise Dr Thomas and his wonderful team (including the nurses and surgical team) and I would also like to mention Dr Vidyaprakash, who was the most kindest and caring doctor/radiologist I've ever met. .

Dr Thomas was my consultant. He broke the news to me that I had breast cancer. He was both caring and professional. He gave me detailed information about the cancer and the plan ahead. He gave me opportunity to ask questions and gave me clinical based answers. I always felt I was involved in my care and treatment. I saw him again before my surgery, where again he checked I understood the procedure, again with professional, compassionate care. I then saw him as an out patient postoperatively, where I received further results and clinical plan. Having continuity of care during this emotional time was invaluable. Dr Thomas made me feel I was his priority and I felt safe and trusted that he was going to do his very best for me. I believe that any patient seen by Dr Thomas would feel the same.
