I requested a second opinion and to be referred to Mr Robertson through my GP following very unsatisfactory and inconsistent answers to my questions and always seeing different doctors at the NHS hospital. From the very first meeting with Mr Robertson I got very clear and honest answers to my questions and felt that Mr Robertson had as much time as I needed to address all of my concerns. This very calm, honest and very professional persona that Mr Robertson has is evident from the first consultation through pre and post operation visits to the final consultation. If you are unfortunate enough to need expert advice and an operation I would thoroughly recommend Mr Robertson.

Mr Robertson performed keyhole surgery to correct a hernia I had for several months. He listened very carefully when we first met, diagnosed the issue quickly, set a date and proceeded from there. On the day of the op, he explained the procedure and told me exactly how I would be affected afterwards and how recovery would continue. His staff were extremely friendly and gave me excellent care throughout the day. Although I wasn't looking forward to surgery the day went without incident or nervousness on my part, when I awoke after surgery I was calm and comfortable. No after effects and now I feel strong and well again, everything appears to be fine. I believe Mr Robertson and his team have every thing worked out fine with their procedure at Spire in Oadby from checking in to release after all is complete. I wouldn't change anything.

I had keyhole surgery on the 5 June to remove my gallbladder and stones by Mr Gavin Robertson and team at Nuffield Hospital in Leicester. The care received both before and after was both Professional and caring. The keyhole surgery was very precise with minimal scaring. Thank you to Mr Gavin Robertson and team for a full recovery.

As I am self employed, having time off work is crucial and Gavin from the consultation right through to the after care helped me get back to work as quickly as possible. All aspects of my treatment was first class.

I consulted Mr Robertson following a spell in hospital with a inflamed gall bladder. In the several consultations we had he always provided very clear information and my many questions were always answered to my satifaction. I was not the easiest of patients but was always treated with empathy, patience and at times humour. When I opted to have the cholecystectomy I did so possessing all the relevant information and with total confidence in Mr. Robertson. During my 2 day stay in hospital I could not fault my treatment by Mr. Robertson, his team and the hospital staff.Needless to say the operation was a success.Thank you.
