Dear Sirs, You have requested feedback from me concerning my recent appointment with Mr Francis-Khoury. Please note: 1. Pre-appointment arrangements, including reminders, excellent. 2. Comfortable waiting room, friendly staff. Minimal delay before being shown in to Mr F-K’s consulting room. 3. Whilst waiting, lady nurse was friendly and ‘chatty’. 4. Formal introductions with consultant appreciated. 5. Mr F-K carried out a thorough investigation of my ears, especially my problem left ear. 6 Greatly impressed with his professional and friendly manner. 7.Very content with entire out-patients experience. 8. Mr F-K’s notes of his examination followed in the post shortly afterwards. From what we can glean from his highly technical report no further action is to be taken and no action is required from my GP pending a monitoring visit to the Hospital in two years’ time. I hope that Mr F-K will be able to conduct the follow-up examination. Yours sincerely, Ray Bird

From the initial friendly welcoming up until leaving I felt very comfortable, Mr Khoury was very understanding and took as much time as was necessary to explain in language I could understand what my problem was and how to go about dealing with it. I left having learnt more from this gentleman in forty minuets than I had learnt in the previous three and a half months, oh how I wish I had found him three months earlier. Thank you so very much

After a hearing test, the audiologist suggested I see my GP, who suspected I had a neuroma inside my ear. I went to see Mr Khoury privately to get seen as quickly as possible. Not only did he reassure me that my hearing isn't that bad(he performed another hearing test) but he said he would arrange an MRI scan for me on the NHS, which is better for me.

I have been practicing medicine for over two decades and count myself as immensely blessed to have enjoyed almost every working day (and learnt invaluable lessons on rare sad ones).
