mr bailey is a truly wonderful man my mum has had 2 knee replacements by him and he was so kind and caring with her, he has given her back her freedom to be able to go out and about again after being housebound, thank you for all your care.

I'm 50yrs old and the operation performed by mr Bailey was my 1st time in theatre and worried is a understatement . I had keyhole surgery on my shoulder. After the high standard of skill and care by mr C Bailey and his team of nurses i have had a 100% success result and would willingly return for any further operations with out worry of any kind ...100%result ..100% trust.

Doctor was friendly, caring and sympathetic to my needs. Felt he listened to me and fully understood my concerns. His professional approach made me feel confident about the outcome of my surgery. Needs to ensure that patients don't only have the worst scenario about pain level as everybody is different and I thought the pain would be more severe than it was. His secretary needs to make sure he has all paperwork in time for patient appointment as my physio. sent him a report a nine days before I saw him but he hadn't seen it.

Due to my accident prone nature this is my sixth key hole surgery on my knees, Mr Bailey was very realistic as to what could be achieved and explained it fully pre-op. The operation went well, I had very little pain after and the wounds healed quickly and cleanly, I was back cycling within a week and a half and driving in two weeks. On the post-op appointment Mr Bailey exp!ained clearly the procedure and showed photographs of the damage, also explained what could be expected in the future. I was made to feel very welcome and unrushed. I came away with the feeling that if I had had any other queries they would have been answered fully.

One year later I can say Christopher Bailey performed a wonderful reconstruction of my ACL (and lots of meniscus cleanup). He was most professional, courteous, and realistic about my prognosis. The end result is superb and while I may never have a knee as good as my 'old' one the reconstruction and cleanup have made an enormous improvement to my daily life, as well as allowing me to do moderate hikes. Since my knee had been unstable for quite some time (own fault) my muscles are still rehabilitating, but I expect to ski again shortly. Many, many thanks!
