Submental liposuction. I am thoroughly delighted with the results of my recent submental liposuction performed by Mr Raine. From the initial consultation right through to the follow up appointment, Mr Raine was extremely professional. He explained clearly to me what I could realistically expect from the procedure which meant that my expectations were not only met but exceeded. Bilateral breast reduction After spending many years deliberating on having breast surgery, my last summer holiday finally helped me make my mind up - squeezing my enormous 32 HH breasts into small tops and bathing costumes was no fun and left me feeling miserable, not to mention uncomfortable. My husband encouraged me to seek out a surgeon on return from holiday, and on referral from a friend, I arranged a consultation with Mr Raine. My husband and I were very impressed by his professionalism and approachability. the detail presented on all aspects of the procedure were discussed. At no time did I feel pressured. I left feeling more reassured I wanted the surgery. Following my consultation, Mr Raine sent myself and GP a letter detailing our conversation. This was really helpful. I decided to go ahead with the surgery a few weeks later and all went smoothly. I was uncomfortable for a couple of weeks but reassured by the wonderful specialist plastics nurses at Spire. I have had my final consultation with Mr Raine and the scars after 3 months have healed really well. I am honestly amazed and chuffed to bits. Mr Raine is a very considerate and excellent plastic surgeon. I would not hesitate to refer him. If you are reading this and hesitant, I would say don’t delay another moment. The operation has been life changing for me going from HH to a D/DD. I am so ecstatically happy. Big thanks to Mr Raine and nursing team.

Bilateral breast reduction with labial reduction Having considered surgery for years, I wish I had gone ahead sooner. Prior to surgery I experienced significant discomfort and pain when exercising, and felt my body was completely out of proportion. I am delighted with the results, was able to go back to active exercise 8 weeks after my surgery and feel much more comfortable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mr Raine who was very reassuring and professional. Marsha

My whole experience with Spire and especially with Cameron has been exceptional from start to finish. For me a key thing I found was that time was never an issue and I never felt rushed during any of my appointments, which I felt extremely happy with as it allowed us to go through every detail and for me to ask whatever questions I needed regarding the procedure. Cameron was very professional throughout and I always felt like I was in good hands and his expertise shone through. My actual results from the surgery are one of the best I’ve ever seen during my research before and after my surgery. It has been done so naturally which is exactly what I asked for. I really cannot recommend Cameron enough and what he has been able to achieve with my surgery.

Bilateral breast uplift with implants (augmentation mastopexy) I had thought about surgery for quite a few years, having a baby young really changed the appearance of my breasts. I was left with zero confidence and extremely unhappy. I felt really embarrassed. After doing research over the years I picked a surgeon at spire hospitals in murrayfield. Dr. Cameron Raine was a highly recommended surgeon by lots of girls I had spoken with. I decided to take the plunge and go for a consultation. Leaving his office after the first consultation I felt upset as I could not go ahead with a straight forward breast augmentation. This had been my fear after having two kids and with effects of breast feeding sagging of the breasts had really settled in. I had a long think about what would happen next as this not only meant a bigger operation of mastopexy and augmentation it also increased the cost of the operation. It also meant having more scarring that was more visible.After more research and picture comparisons I made up my mind. I knew I had found the perfect surgeon and all there was to do now was go for it. We discussed sizes and I tried different implants in sports bras to get ideas. We settled on 370cc under the muscle tear drop. The day of my surgery came round quickly and I was made to feel at complete ease by all the spire medical staff and my surgeon. Coming round from surgery I was taken back to my hospital room and well looked after. I was sore and in pain and felt an over all tightness in the chest which my surgeon had explained. 10 days passed and my scars already looked brilliant and it felt too good to be true as the nurses gave me such compliments on them for being so early in recovery process. I was over the moon. 4 weeks on my right side scar re opened as a dissolvable stitch hadn't dissolved properly . Dr. Raine and his team made sure I was seen right away and provided me with dressings and antibiotics to make sure everything would fully heal. This happened a couple more times but I only needed dressings after this and my doctor was happy to see me everytime and reassure me of any worries and questions I had. This made a fully recovery within a few weeks. 3 months on my scars are great I am thrilled with the results. Seeing before and after pictures of myself has made me even happier of choice to go ahead with surgery . If I could do anything again I would have made the choice to go ahead with surgery sooner. I can't thank Dr.Raine enough for all his help and care throughout everything. He has done an amazing job and really has made a huge impact on my confidence in myself. JB
