Just a very friendly and effective environment for getting better quickly, great staff including all drs, nurses, ancillary staff.I stayed overnight , and felt the attentiveness of staff was brilliant throughout.

All staff were very friendly as well as clearly being excellent at their respective jobs. Made my overnight stay following a lower back procedure as comfortable as possible.

I had an ultrasound at Spire this morning. The reception staff were lovely but the nurse who chaperoned my procedure was brusque and made little effort to reassure me or put me at ease. She then forgot to lock the door and a builder working in the hospital accidentally walked in halfway through the procedure. Although the radiologist apologised, the nurse was very offhand about the situation despite putting me in such an awkward and upsetting position. Overall I would not recommend Spire and have received much better care from medical staff at NHS hospitals.

I highly recommend Mr Jothy Kandasamy. I had a microdiscectomy which has been successful after suffering from severe sciatica for over 10 months. Care at Spire Murrayfield was excellent.

I have self funded care recently because of the difficulties experienced trying to have a face to face consultation with an NHS urologist. My experience so far at Spire Murrayfield has been exceptional. Following a consultation with Mr Stewart (who was friendly and very approachable) I had a urogram recently and the staff were completely professional and caring. I felt safe and well looked after at all stages of the procedure. Cleanliness was also exceptional in all areas. I received the results of the urogram within a week and I have been advised to have a cystoscopy. Even though I expect it will not be the most pleasant of experiences I am confident the team will make it as easy as possible for me and that I will be treated with the utmost respect and consideration. It's not cheap but for peace of mind it is worth it.
