I first met Mr Agrawal at Queen Alexandra Hospital, five years ago when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I consider I was very lucky that he was the surgeon whom I had been assigned to and will always remember how he gently told me my diagnosis. I could not have received better treatment since that time and I particularly appreciate how kind, caring and approachable Mr Agrawal has always been, as well as very professional.

Mr Agrawal was extremely pleasant, calm, professional and reassuring during my first consultation with him at Spire. Obviously it's a very worrying and frightening time and no one is quite sure what to expect and especially so at the moment as we are attending alone due to COVID restrictions . Mr Agrawal immediately put me at ease and explained everything calmly and in a friendly manner. His nurse was equally calm and professional with excellent communication skills. It was very reassuring to receive a call from Charli the day before the appointment to ask if I had any questions , which obviously I did and she was able to explain the appointment and what would happen completely to me. Many thanks Mr Agrawal and all your team for your care and attention.

I cannot recommend Mr Agrawal enough! I feel incredibly thankful to have had Mr Agrawal as my consultant surgeon during what has been a very difficult time. Mr Agrawal has been a kind and supportive consultant, who has not once made me feel rushed in any appointments (both at QA and Spire). He has a wonderful team around him at Spire (such as Charlie his secretary, and Gwynedd his breast care nurse), and he is clearly well regarded and well respected with his colleagues, with everyone speaking very highly of him. Mr Agrawal genuinely cares for his patients and you can tell he works incredibly hard to do his best for them. I couldn’t have found a consultant I could trust more with my treatment and care. A big thank you to Mr Agrawal, and to his team!

I can’t recommend Mr Agrawal enough. I left each consult, and op, fully informed, listened to and confident in the care plan and surgeon. Following my op, I was very pleasantly surprised that my scar was so neat. I appreciate that primarily our health is paramount, but to many left with scars as reminders of their journey this should also ensure comfort.

Mr Agrawal has been nothing but caring and professional since my previous consultant passed me over to him.

I also have a special interest in and undertake surgery for skin cancer.

I graduated from the London Hospital Medical College, University of London. My general surgical training was based around several centres of excellence in managing breast diseases, including The Royal Marsden Hospital where I developed oncoplastic techniques to optimise the cosmetic outcome of breast surgery.

I have always been interested in cancer surgery, and as part of my higher surgical training at the University College London, I was awarded a master's degree for my research into Gene Therapy for the prevention and treatment of cancer.

In 2007 I was appointed Consultant Surgeon at Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust.
