From the very first NHS consultation at the Queen Alexandra Hospital through to private health surgery and post-operative care at Spire, Portsmouth, I am being treated like an individual whose thoughts and feelings are taken into account. Mr Agrawal is gently persuasive and clearly very experienced and respected. I've appreciated being kept informed at every step of my recurrent breast cancer journey. Breast cancer nurses Lucy and Corrinne are both friendly and professional, and I enjoyed the care shown by everyone during my in-patient experience at Spire, Portsmouth. It feels like everyone makes time to treat me with genuine concern for my wellbeing.
Spire Portsmouth is a great hospital, the support from every team, from reception to imaging to nursing, anesthetist and surgeons.
Clean, modern and comfortable facilities. Friendly and professional staff
It is what I expected private medicine to be like - prompt appointments, excellent equipment and focussed staff. It gets busy when clinics are on, but it has been wonderful for treatment.
Mr. Jowett provided expert knowledge and guidance following a complication with my ankle fracture. I had been struggling with chronic pain that prevented me from returning to sport. Using detailed MRI and CT scans, he accurately diagnosed the issue as an OCD lesion of the talus. Based on his recommendation, I underwent a complex arthroscopy — and the difference has been night and day. I can run again and finally have a real chance to continue my career in sports. I can’t thank Mr. Jowett and his team enough for their skill, care, and support.
Excellent teams at Spire Portsmouth.
The professional and caring compassionate nature and responses to me on my appointments at this hospital have been appreciated. looking forward to my next knee op at your hospital xx
I have had several surgeries here. Really good hospital, well organised and kind, caring staff.
Pleasant staff and welcoming.
My daughter was seen at The Spire for a breast reduction.
All of the staff from Reception to Nurses were approachable, helpful and informative.
My daughter is autistic and can struggle with communication. The reception staff dealt directly with her by email and phone and were all friendly and put her at her ease.
My daughter is vegan and I was impressed with the choice of starters, mains and desserts on offer for her. Her room was clean and comfortable and she was quite happy for me to leave her there.
The staff from start to finish were all professional, calm and kind.
The hospital made a clean and professional impression when I saw Dr. Gardner for a routine scan and advice about the menopause. The doctor is excellent and a nurse acting as a chaperone and staff at reception are very professional as well. Highly recommended!
