I was experiencing daily pain in my shoulder for around 2 years before seeing Mr Desai. Mr Desai listened to me and through examination and x-ray quickly identified my problem. I had a successful shoulder decompression and capsular release via shoulder arthroscopy. The level of care I received from Mr Desai and the team at St Hugh's Hospital was outstanding from beginning to end. I have not taken painkillers for some time now and have an amazing range of movement in my shoulder.

I’m a dog groomer who has had shoulder pain for a number of years which eventually meant I could no longer do my job. Mr Desai first saw me back in aug 2020 and after some tests explained that my shoulder was damaged quite badly and one of the choices to help relieve the pain was a reverse shoulder replacement. I chose that option fairly easily as I wanted to get back to work as soon as possible. My surgery was a complete success and I’m now pain free and starting to groom again. Thank you Mr Desai for your care and expertise in helping me back to a normal life.
