I was referred by my GP for a lower hernia. I then visited the Fitzwilliam hospital and meet with Mr Tsang, he discussed what was happening and kept me fully informed at every step. Mr Tsang examined me and informed me of the options, we considered all options and although I felt that surgery was the best option, as I had not been an inpatient since I was a couple of weeks old, I was very apprehension. Mr Tsang suggested that I go away and think about it, discuss it with my family and he gave me another appointment. When we meet again we discussed the options again and I decided on surgery. On the day of the operation Mr Tsang came in to see me, again helped to ensure that I was happy. The operation went extremely well, Mr Tsang came in after surgery and ensured that everything was well, and made sure I was fully aware of my recuperation. The operation has been a complete success, I can function as well as I could before the hernia, I do not suffer any pain or discomfort from the operation or the repair. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mr Tsang, he acted professionally and with compassion throughout the whole process.

I had suffered with what turned out to be achalasia for over four years but it was not diagnosed until January 2020 and I was offered a botox injection to relax the muscle which was partly blocking food and liquid from entering my stomach. Luckily for me Mr Tsang picked up my paperwork and instead of the injection agreed to do a Heller's Cardiomyotomy and Anterior Dor fundoplication which was what I had wanted in the first place. It was scheduled for 26 March but had to be cancelled as laparoscopic operations were stopped because of Covid but Mr Tsang said he would rearrange at the earliest opportunity. True to his word the procedure was carried out on 3 July and was a complete success. I am now back to eating whatever food I like and it is wonderful. Mr Tsang was brilliant from the first time I met him and he explained everything in detail, answered questions and gave me such confidence in him. He has truly given me my life back and I can never thank him enough. He is one of the best and I am so thankful that our paths crossed. Linda White

Mr Tsang performed my gastric sleeve surgery in January this year. I felt immediately at ease with Mr Tsang from our first consultation, he was extremely professionally at all times with a caring and friendly nature. He was very happy to answer lots of questions from my family as well as me and when I was out of surgery he kept my family informed at the earliest opportunity. My surgery was a success and I am thankful that I have not encountered any problems at all and my scar is very neat. His post operation care has been exceptional. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Mr Tsang and can’t thank him enough for the life changing care and advice that he has offered to me.

Dr Tsang was informative and talked me through all stages of the operation and the post op care so i felt comfortable and had all the information required. If i am honest i had a fantastic experience at Peterborough hosiptal in general for all areas of my treatment and it has been one of the quickest and best experiences within the NHS.
