I had a serious operation Dr Andrew Tsang made the call in how to treat me . A complex situation , I was told that there was only one other patient recorded to have the same problem as me in the country . I am so grateful to him he saved my life.

Mr Tsang was very professional and gave me complete confidence in what he was doing from beginning to end. I was able to see him and have the procedure done conveniently and with the minimum fuss. Everything was fully explained to me and at no time did I feel concerned that what Mr Tsang was telling me was not the best possible advice. The procedure itself was just as described, there were no surprises and I am very happy with the outcome.

Mr Tsang impressed me with his ability to explain things very clearly and the time he was prepared to spend answering my questions. He clearly wants the best for his patients and is prepared to go the extra mile to make sure they are well cared for and get the treatment that they need. I can wholeheartedly recommend the service he gives and I thank him personally for the care he showed me.

I have spent lots of time in top teaching hospitals over the years suffering from ulcerated colitis, bowel cancer and now suspected crohn’s disease. The last stay was in May 2018 in Peterborough Hospital under the direct care of Mr. Andrew Tsang, and simply because of his genuine care, this is the first time ever I have been compelled to write my first ever review. Mr. Tsang, has an authority that instantly fills you with confidence, however venerable you may think you feel, you are in a very unstable place of mind, but on the first conversation with Mr. Tsang this was very quickly dispelled, not just by the knowledge he has, but, by the way he takes the time to explain, listen and repeat if necessary in a different ways, in a very calm and ‘I care about you’ way. Mr. Tsang has a bedside manner that I have only seen once before (in St Marks specialist hospital West London), You are not just another one of his patients, you are treated as his only patient and you and your needs are of paramount importance in his daily routines. He really listens to you as a patient and a human being and responds accordingly, but is confident enough to gently persuade you by helping you understand the consequences of your request, that perhaps there is a better way to recovery. These two qualities can only work when, sincerity to the patients needs is at the heart of what you do as a person. It came across as Mr. Andrew Tsang having this genuine sincerity as an integral part of his whole being, and I am so grateful that I was lucky enough to be under his care. This care and attention to the patient is played out in who he choses to have working with him and who trains under him as well, there was one other member of his team, who was amazingly outstanding, Nurse Lillian Feery, you may say that she needs to have these qualities as a nurse, very few nurses have these outstanding qualities. But again Lillian Feery has all the qualities of Mr. Tsang and deserves the recognition as well; so much so I would chose her over and above anyone else I came across in the hospital to care for me including any surgical intervention that may be needed. So two amazingly trustworthy caring people both in the same hospital, both in the same team and I was lucky to get both of them. THANK YOU.
