I felt immediately reassured when I met with Dr Alex. He had a clear plan of what needed to happen to treat my problem. I was also impressed with his ‘ joined up thinking’ as he spotted a separate issue which is being dealt with too. When you find yourself unexpectedly ill, it is such a relief to be seen by a Doctor who reassures you, talks with , not at you, and you trust will get things sorted!

Really took the time to listen to me and understand my situation, rather than just rushing like others have done in the past! Very friendly
I’m sure he will stick to his word about getting me into surgery next week, but time will tell! I really hope so as I he made me confident it will happen next week.

He underwent extensive higher surgical training in major London hospitals and was appointed as NIHR Clinical Lecturer In Surgery at Barts Health in recognition of his numerous publications, international presentations and pioneering research.
