She was very friendly and sympathetic, and gave me my (thankfully, good) news before I had even sat down which was great as she clearly knew I would have been worrying.....lovely lady.

Thank you for this. It's stressful having a breast assessment of any sort, and waiting for results is nerve-wracking. Many many women will come to a breast unit at some point in their lives, and in the Chelmsford Breast Unit we all try very hard to keep the ordeal to a minimum. Best wishes. x

I first met Dr Sasha Dua in July just before I found out I needed several surgeries. She has been absolutely fantastic, provided excellent guidance and care. She always advised me on all the options available to me with an unbiased view. I feel that my husband and I went on a journey and Sasha was there with us every step of the way. She was always available, nothing was too much trouble and she really put our minds at rest. In addition to being brilliant in her profession, she is also a very caring and humorous person and we just love her. We owe a massive debt of gratitude to Sasha for making a difficult time so much easier to bear. I highly recommend Dr Dua, if you see her you are in good hands.

When I was diagnosed with DCIS in October 2014 to say I was shocked would be an understatement, how lucky was I to be put under the care of Sascha Dua. Sascha explained every step of my treatment in clear way and with humour that put me at such ease. On the day of my surgery everything was explained to me again, I was nervous but but again was put at ease. Since surgery it has been almost painless and extremely neat. I have every confidence in Sascha and feel that I could not be in safer hands.

I believe that medicine is both an art and a science, Miss Dua marries both aspects perfectly with her comprehensive consultations and superb surgery. She displayed compassion, humour and impeccable attention to detail throughout my recent treatment. Together with her team, she ensured that I was fully informed at every stage, sensitively including my husband. Despite the vulnerability and inevitable stress involved in a diagnosis of breast cancer I felt fortunate and blessed to be quite literally in such capable "hands". Our sincere gratitude to Miss Dua and we wish her continued success in her work and life.
