My current breast surgeon had sadly retired so I needed to find a new consultant to continue my care after being diagnosed with breast cancer few years back in my early 30’s. I researched and came across Miss Sacha Dua. I choose her for two reasons. 1. She was female and thought it would be a refreshing change from a male 2. She was a breast reconstructive specialist, which what I was looking for. From the moment I had my first appointment with Sacha I just knew I had chosen the correct person to look after me. We discussed having my breast reduced in size to match the breast I had a lumpectomy due to cancer, we both agreed not to make this breast larger, I particularly didn't want that breast touched again. Radiotherapy results in the effected breast staying more ‘pert’, whereas gravity and age over the years had been unkind to the other side and resulted in imbalanced breasts, this affected my confidence, my appearance and a constant reminder that I had suffered with breast cancer. So I went ahead and had surgery mid Oct 2014. Months on, I’m so pleased I took this decision. The op was a huge success, I had decent amount reduced and now I no longer have wonky boobs, they are the same size! I feel fantastic in my appearance, and can’t give enough praise to Sacha and her cleaver hands! I echo all the wonderful comments on here. She just totally understood me, and her approach is friendly, relaxed, completely professional and totally ‘gets it’ as far as us women are concerned about our bodies and confidence. I would highly recommend Sacha, especially if anyone like me, wants reconstructive reduction to book an appointment with Sacha. Huge thanks to Sacha, her wonderful team and staff at Nuffield, Brentwood.

I was referred as a fast track patient to the Breast clinic . All of the team from the consultant , radiographer , nurses and the lovely lady ( Angela ) who done my mammogram made me feel completely at ease . I was never made to feel self concious or embarrassed ( getting your boobs out in front of strangers is always a daunting thought ) . The care I received today was second to none . I would not hesitate to go back if I needed to , and would recommend this service at Broomfield to any woman . Thank you for everything .

The care that my mum received from Ms Dua and her team was exemplary. Time was taken to explain all of the various aspects of her treatment and we were given a great deal of back up information in the form of leaflets and contact detail of groups to speak to about her condition. I can't recommend Ms Dua enough, she made an upsetting and worrying time for my mum so much more bearable just by being there.

I first met Sascha in April 2014 when I found a lump in my right breast, she examined me and said I would have to have an operation to remove the lump hoping as we found it early it would be fine. When I went for my results two weeks later I was told I would need a mastectomy and reconstruction,Sascha was so kind before my operations and in my follow up appointments. I think she is a lovely caring bubbly person and I have had excellent treatment from Sascha and all her staff

Sascha is a really nice lady. She makes you feel at ease - more like a friend than a consultant. She removed a tumour from my left breast recently and has made a really neat job of it and - more importantly - has removed the entire tumour. So not only is she a lovely person but she is also good at her job. I would definitely recommend her if you find yourself needing an onco-plastic breast surgeon.
