I had a hysterscopy biopsy today at King George hospital with Dr Rekha Wuntakal she was so lovely and kind she explained everything to me about the procedure and made sure I was happy and relaxed .. i also have a cyst on my ovary and she explained everything to me about the removal surgery I will be having and asking if I have any questions .. the nurses was also lovely.. one held my hand and the other helping me to relax as the procedure was being done.. afterwards Dr Wuntakal made sure I was ok before I got up and got dressed .. such a lovely doctor.

Ms Wuntakal is just amazing. She is caring, humble, compassionate and honest doctor. Her knowledge is good and is pragmatic while explaining things. She gave the correct advice. Ms Wuntakal is jenuinely nice and called with results by phone to reassure. She listened to all concerns and reassured positively. I highly recommend Ms Wuntakal to my friends who have gynae problem!

Dr Wuntakal and her team Maria & Lesley put me totally at ease as soon as i walked through the door to have a hysteroscopy carried out, i was very nervous and Dr talked me through the procedure which was carried out very proffesionally talking me through and making sure i was ok .. it wasnt as bad as i thought it would be so anyone else feeling anxious .. you are in good hands please dont worry ! Before seeing the Dr. I was a bit confused by different advice from previously seen other medical staff. Dr WUNTAKAL was patient when I ask her multiple questions (not all specifically directly relating to the procedure she was to treat me for), and explained in an easy to understand way the order that I needed to get these investigated in- even after I had to repeat the questions about 3 times for me to register. The hysteroscopy she did was actually much less painful than I had expected. Dr. WUNTAKAL was very considerate, and I could tell she was very experienced in her field due to her expert method. Additionall, she offered to replace my Mireya coil which was not scheduled in this appointment. I really appreciated this, as I felt pretty relaxed and confident in her abilities already, and so this didn’t hurt as much as I know it could have. Follow up instructions were also very clear, and her overall manner throughout the whole appointment was excellent. (Helped by the 2 very competent/ friendly nurses). Many thanks to the team in making my experience actually not unpleasant at all, and very positive.
