I am writing this on behalf of my mum who has no computer. I first met Miss Patel in May 2022 whilst I was a patient on Ward 9. She came to visit me and explained fully about a scan that I had had a few weeks prior. She was very caring, proffessional, and explained everything to me. She then sent me for a colon scan when I was dischaged from hospital, and had an appointment to discuss scan a week later. Miss Patel was very patient and and sat and discussed everything. What my options were and answered many questions that I had. She also took a look at a cut leg I had done a few days previously, and had it redressed. This was not part of our appointment, but I am so glad she did take the time. Thank you Miss Patel.

Miss Patel was very informative throughout my treatment and my operation was a complete success. I am extremely grateful for Miss Patel’s professional skill, which undoubtedly helped to save my life. I cannot praise her enough!

Miss Patel always showed kindness, consideration and reassurance both pre- and post operatively. During my hospital stay, she was prompt and discussed took time to explain any proposed treatment. She also answered any questions I had prior to my cholecystectomy. I would highly recommend Miss Patel. Grateful thanks to both Miss Patel and Suzanne for seeing me through 2 separate conditions, respective operations and ongoing care.

There’s no doubt in my mind that Miss Patel saved my life. A fantastically skilled surgeon with a direct and quite quirky bedside manner that I appreciated. I’m a little surprised not to have had a post operative check up before being discharged back to my GP but will contact my GP about this as I do have a few questions.
