I found Miss Patel extremely thorough, caring and attentive. She put me at ease at each appointment and explained all the scans and procedures I required. She ensured that I was referred to the specialist centre at Blackburn hospital quickly and I thank her and all the staff at Blackburn and Furness General hospital who dealt with me in such a caring and professional way.

Miss Patel is a force to be reckoned with. She gets things done very quickly, organises everything to make sure that all necessary preparations for the operation are completed. She works with other departments to make sure that the patient is in the best situation for the operation to go ahead. She puts herself out to make sure things run smoothly, including using her lunch time/weekend to check on things in order that the operation will take place. I really felt that Miss Patel did everything she could for me; went out of her way to organise necessary scans etc were completed before the operation. She instilled me with confidence, listened to what I had to say, included my wife in all discussions, made me feel that I was part of the process and was determined that the operation would be successful. Miss Patel is diligent in every aspect of her work; she showed interest in me as an individual and went to great lengths to explain the procedure of the operation and possible effects as well as answering all my questions. I was well informed regarding my treatment, medication etc. Miss Patel has excellent communication skills and I know that I could ,even, now call on her or her team at any time. Miss Patel and her team work extremely well together and have great respect for each other. I know that they could not have done any more for me. We cannot thank you enough. Len and Maureen Kittley

Miss Patel is exceptional in her bedside manner, she explained her approach to my care in detail, she listened to my concerns and put both my partner and I at complete ease. I trust Miss Patel totally and I know that I am in the best hands possible. To be perfectly honest I am not doing her justice she is simply the best and my guardian angel. Her team are really well lead and their patient interactions are superb. I cannot thank Miss Patel enough she has saved my life on two occasions now. Thank you Miss Patel. Colin Mcdowell.

Miss Patel was very understanding about my issue I had and treated me with dignity. She made sure I was informed at every step of the way. Miss Patel tried to get me with the right specialists for my problem but they wouldn't take me so she made sure I was treated and had the operation under surgical team not the gyne team! She was very polite honest if I ever needed surgery again I would choose her every time. THANK YOU MISS PATEL
