Our teenage son has been under the superb care (Outpatient) of Miss Ashby for three years. With every appointment, be it in person or on the telephone, we have had her unhurried attention and explanations. Unbeknown to our son, Miss Ashby's initial observations of his foot began as he walked from the waiting area into her room, which led to a honest and thorough examination, followed by questions and a diagnosis all pitched at the correct level for our son. Miss Ashby is a highly professional, knowledgeable, caring and personable individual and we feel very fortunate that our son was referred to Addenbrooke's and benefited from being a patient of Miss Ashby. Thank you.

Miss Ashby looks after our son, he's 4 and has Perthes which means we have regular appointments. Initially when the diagnosis was unknown and scary she was hugely reassuring, explaining what was likely to happen clearly and kindly. She has always taken the time to listen to our concerns, no matter how small. We never feel rushed and we have been impressed at the consistent regular care between Miss Ashby and the physio team. Most importantly she is wonderful with my son, she talks to him and explains the situation in terms he understands. When he was sad that his hip condition makes him different she had a wonderful way of speaking to him to reassure him. He was also particularly impressed with the way that she could name all of the PJ Masks from his socks. I feel incredibly lucky that we have Miss Ashby to look after us through this condition.

My teenage son is under the care of Miss Ashby. Our journey to see her was hindered by us being caught in a traffic jam in the aftermath of a road traffic accident. I called the clinic to explain the situation and to apologise for our running late. The clinic called back and told me that Miss Ashby would see us and the message came back that said "Miss Ashby said to take your time and drive safely". I was fully expecting to be told that we would have to reschedule the appointment! We were seen and my son was thoroughly examined. The diagnosis was a relief and with ongoing physio we will have a great outcome. Miss Ashby was wonderful at explaining things to my son in a language he could understand and with great diagrams! We found her to be incredibly thorough, professional, polite and courteous. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her in the future. Thank you for everything Miss Ashby, we think you are wonderful! x

My son is still under Miss Ashby's care, between two operations to correct the alignment of his leg bones. She has been amazing at explaining everything and taking time. She was caring on the day of the operation, and we've been grateful to have had her as his consultant and surgeon.
