Part of the "cure", is understanding the patient and their needs, aside from the medical. Many times, especially with the elderly, many of the symptoms are due to other factors, aside from the physical, just as important but often ignored by many medics. Dr Osuji is completely in tune with her patient, offering a humanity often missing in modern practice. Greatly appreciated was the clarity of the way forward, dealing with all aspects of the diagnosis, giving clear milestones and targets.
