Excellent care and attention from the medical team. The worse part is being on a ward with no stimulation, looking at a ceiling, fellow patients who are all nervous of their illness and treatment with nothing to take your mind off your condition. Being diagnosed with cancer is scary enough without having to spend hours and hours just waiting to be seen by your medical team for results. The wards need a TV or Radio to take the mind off procedures and medication. Dr Stella Kotsiopoulou is very thorough and allocates time to sit with you and chat through any concerns. The day nurses are usually very helpful and supportive, however the night nurses and weekend staff are very impatient, rude and unhelpful.
