Dr Magda Smith

Dr Smith has looked after me for 18 years. She always makes me feel like I'm her only patient, despite being really busy. She genuinely shows care and compassion for me and - speaking to other patients - we all love her to bits. She is absolutely brilliant at her job and recommended a medication for me (which other medical professionals had never heard of!) which made my Ulcerative Colitis really manageable. She has written letters for me, asking for help from my employers. She is all round just absolutely fantastic and I'm so, so lucky to have her looking after me. I cannot recommend her highly enough. Dr Smith is wonderful.

Dr Smith has been my consultant for years, I was diagnosed in 2002 and only remember her as being my dr, she is brilliant, she gives me the time to listen or cry! Depending on my situation! She’s very caring and is great at her job, I couldn’t recommend her enough! She liases with my gp and gives my gp advice when I’m having a flare up, she’s an all round wonderful person and I would hate to have to see anyone else

To reiterate what other patients have said, I always feel that Dr Smith will listen and react quickly to any issues or problems I’m having. She also always reminds me that if I’m struggling to just call her and she’ll arrange to see me. I know that I couldn’t wish for better care.
