My mother had an ooh cardiac arrest in April 2019 and was taken into intensive care. Following this it was found she had dilated cardiomyopathy and was referred to dr guha. I count my blessings everyday that this man was her consultant. I could not have asked for better care from a more considerate, kind and wonderful person. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts

I was admitted to Queen Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition following a massive heart attack in August 2019. I arrived by Coast Guard Helicopter in the early hours of the morning as I live on the Isle of Wight. Although I don't remember the first few hours, I was very lucky to be appointed Dr Guha as my Consultant. From there on in, my life was in his hands together with the amazing team in Critical Care. The decisions that he made on my behalf were critical to my survival, his knowledge, care and compassion was something that I have never experienced before. His care and compassion was also extended to my husband who was with me all the time and for this we are eternally grateful. For a week Dr Guha would do his morning rounds and took the time to listen to both of our concerns and was very reassuring, although I was so terribly ill. Once I was well enough to have an angiogram, it became apparent that I needed immediate surgery and was rushed to Southampton General where triple heart bypass surgery was carried out the next morning. Today, I am 7 months on from the surgery and have a new lease of life. Without a shadow of a doubt, if I had not been lucky enough to have Dr Guha as my Consultant, I do not believe I would have survived. I owe my life to Dr Guha and his amazing team at Queen Alexandra Hospital. Thank you so very much Dr Guha. From Julie and Paul

Dr Guha is one Amazing doctor he looks after my Dad and myself infact if it was not for him my Dad certainly would not be here today. His care for not just the patient but also the Family is so reassuring. My Dad became a completely different person and also had a pace maker fitted which We were kept informed throughout. And for me he has been brilliant also sending me to Brompton in London which gave me a lot of answers. He just cares so much And takes his time portsmouth hospital are very lucky to have him. 100% best doctor.
