I recently had a new hip with Mr Carrothers who was brilliant and Dr Jonathan Martin was just wonderful too totally reassured me at every step of the way… he couldn’t improve in any way! And I was definately sedated remembered nothing about procedure! Thank you so so much for your care and a gentle sense of humour which I love …. Dr Martin was my anaesthetist for day surgery under general anaesthetic at the Cambridge Spire. He came to see me before I went down and was most reassuring with regard to my concern about other, very recently diagnosed medical issues and any possible risk factors under GA. He comes across as friendly and confident and gave me plenty of time to ask questions and consider his responses. We had amusing exchanges when administering the pre-med which helped to put me at ease. Thank you!

He is friendly, approachable, thoughtful and very clear when explaining things. He listens and interacts, which is a real skill. He is, obviously, very knowledgeable but not remotely patronising. He is kind and very reassuring which enables a patient to feel very safe in his care.

I was nervous about going into hospital for my procedure, Dr Jonathan Martin payed me a visit just before my procedure, I really liked his professionalism and made me feel totally at ease and made me feel very confident that my procedure would go well. After my procedure Dr Jonathan Martin payed me a visit and confirmed everything went really well and put me at total ease , I was a very happy patient. I would also like to say Dr Jonathan and Dr N Thiruchevam make a hospital visit as stress free as possible. A kind thank you to the theatre and ward nurses for making my visit as comfortable as possible. Thank you.

I was feeling nervous about going int hospital for my procedure. Meeting Dr Martin put me at total ease with his calm professional manner , I found I had total confidence in him , I was so pleased that he came into my ward to have a chat with me. After my procedure Dr Martin came to see me and again and reassure me everything went really well , again his manner was exceptional. Also his team with Mr N Thruchelvam and all the theatre and ward nurses made me feel totally at ease. Thank you.
