I can't make a comparison with any other psychiatrists, but what I appreciate about Dr Woolley is that I feel fully involved in the conversation and decisions around my care. He treats me like the best witness to what is happening, rather than an unreliable one.

I cannot recommend Dr Woolley highly enough. From my first appointment, where he made time to see me at short notice, I started to believe that I could get better. Dr Woolley always listened to what I had to say and I always felt so reassured after my appointments with him. The follow up care I received after I left hospital was also excellent. I was told by another patient that I was very lucky to have him as my doctor as he had such an outstanding reputation and I couldn't agree more.

Dr Woolley is very personable. He listened to and absorbed everything I said. He is providing ongoing treatment which appears to have some hope of working. Altogether a super doctor.

I had been feeling apprehensive about my appointment with Dr Woolley, but I needn’t have. He was reassuring, understanding and easy to talk to - a really lovely man! I felt as though he genuinely cared about what I was telling him, and really listened to me. I felt completely at ease and he spoke to me with kindness and consideration. He didn’t rush me, and let me ask everything I had wanted to. I also feel extremely confident in the advice he gave me and that by following his suggestions my situation will improve. I left my consultation last week feeling instantly better and I am really grateful for his time and opinions. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him (in fact I already have!) or seek his advice again the future.
