Dr. Maksoud is an excellent physician including being an endocrinologist. He provides holistic care. He is very knowledgeable (not only in his own speciality), listens to the patient, does not rush through the consultation and takes his time to explain the diagnosis. He has a lovely personality and makes patients feel as though the individual is his only patient. He is so reliable and has never, ever, let me down as a patient over the years I have been treated by him. Without his care, I would have been in a serious state of health. I have a great deal of respect for him and I would say to anyone who requires care from this superb consultant go ahead and make an appointment to consult him. You will not regret it and he will do his utmost to get you better.

Do you have digestive issues, have you been dismissed by your GP, are you at the end of your rope and don't know what to do… well you've come to the right place, Dr Maksoud will fix you right up. Look, in all seriousness, that was me 3 years ago. I had some bad digestive issues (couldn't eat much to save my life, because of pain and nausea) and wasted so much time with the NHS getting pushed from doctor to doctor being called a liar and such, I was literally at the end of the line. As to be expected I was really apprehensive about seeing Dr Maksoud, thought he was going to treat me like everyone else, how wrong I was. He's kind, listens and explains everything, literally went through blood tests together. I could go on, but I've only got good things to say. Just book an appointment, don't even waste your time with the NHS like I did.

I have been seeing Dr Maksoud for about 5 years and he is exceptional. I have seen other endocrine specialists privately and did not get the feeling then of being understood, my symptoms were dismissed. Quite the opposite with Dr Maksoud, he listens, took the time to understand my frustrations and over the years we have jointly come to a place where the medication prescribed deals with my variable energy requirements (I lift weights 3 times a week and this is not common in woman of my age). I have an unusual form of thyroid issue, and I cannot expect my GP to understand the complexities. But Dr Maksoud does, and with his assistance, I am in a healthy place. I particularly appreciate the time he takes going through the blood test results to explain whey they were requested, what they demonstrate and what this means for me. He also practices preventatively, to try to prevent disease from developing. I am a healthcare professional myself , and he gives the kind of care we all strive to achieve.

As other patients have written about Dr.Hisham, I have also experienced him being a wonderful, approachable, caring, medical consultant. He is a perfectionist. He gives of his time to listen effectively, make a correct diagnosis and then explains the disease process through his extensive knowledge. He really understands why patients and their families have worried when they have not experienced good, effective and timely care before consulting him. I wish there were many more conscientious medical doctors like him around. He has been there for me during my long serious illnesses and I really can't thank him enough. I dread to think where I would have been without his continuing medical care. I would advise anyone 100% that when medical care is required for whatever health problem they should consult him without fail.
