Dr Seevaratnam has been my type 1 diabetic consultant for a number of years and I always know she will listen to me and give her expert advice professionally and In a caring manner. My control has been excellent due to her help and guidance through some difficult times. Thank you.
This doctor did not really listen to me, had her own ideas about my illness and although I see she has been helpful before, I wonder how many of her patient had a complex thyroid condition & not diabetics.
When I couldn't attend the clinic for my follow up appointments ( only twice) through being too ill, she promptly discharged me back to my Gp, despite my results being wildly out & needing professional consultation & she has still not given me a full set of results.
She is superb - she listens to me and takes the time to explain things to me in depth when I ask. She is a credit to the QMC and to her profession and many of her fellow workers and medical students would do well to listen to her and learn from her caring, sensitive and responsive approach. You naturally expect a high level of expertise from a medical professional at her level but I think it's her excellent rapport with patients combined with her knowledge that is the winning combination here. If you manage to get her as your consultant you should feel very pleased indeed.
Extremely helpful, intelligent and a proactive. I couldn't really rate this doctor any higher, I wish GP's listened to patients like this Dr does. Makes a hospital visit stress-free and you feel you will get a solution from her. I would rather be treated by her than my GP any day of the week. I have faith I will get my health right under her care. I feel she listened and understood my complex problem and will get me sorted one way or another.
I think she is a great doctor and lovely young woman. She is very easy to talk to and a credit to her proffession.
