I have been seeing Dr Maksoud for about 5 years and he is exceptional. I have seen other endocrine specialists privately and did not get the feeling then of being understood, my symptoms were dismissed. Quite the opposite with Dr Maksoud, he listens, took the time to understand my frustrations and over the years we have jointly come to a place where the medication prescribed deals with my variable energy requirements (I lift weights 3 times a week and this is not common in woman of my age). I have an unusual form of thyroid issue, and I cannot expect my GP to understand the complexities. But Dr Maksoud does, and with his assistance, I am in a healthy place. I particularly appreciate the time he takes going through the blood test results to explain whey they were requested, what they demonstrate and what this means for me. He also practices preventatively, to try to prevent disease from developing. I am a healthcare professional myself , and he gives the kind of care we all strive to achieve.
