Very nice anaesthetist, he was very calm and reassuring, explained everything that was going to happen. Thorough examination beforehand and gave me advice on something to look into in future. I have no memory of what actually happened though! I woke up fine and feel fine now six days later.

Dr Uncles is excellent.very kind and understanding.he listenend to my fears and put my mind totally at ease.an excellent bedside manner. he also explained everything to me which I like.I felt very happy going into my operation knowing I was in safe and understanding hands. for the first time in my life I was not sick or felt sick after my operation which has always worried me. Dr Uncles is absolutely brilliant. Iwould thoroually recommend him. an excellent Dr. and a very kind and understanding man.a credit to his profession.

Dr Uncles visited me before my operation and went through my previous history and then clearly went through the procedure asking myself or my husband if we had any other questions or concerns, we both felt completely at ease with what had already been discussed.
I felt completely safe whilst having my anaesthetic and next day he visited me again as I had been quite sick whilst in recovery, he discussed that in the future if I was to need other operations what would be the best thing for me in order to help to reduce my sickness.
Dr Uncles really cares about his patients, he is professional, friendly and approachable.

I am a specialist Anaesthetist with interests in Obstetric, Ambulatory and Inpatient anaesthesia. I employ a variety of anaesthetic techniques including general or regional anaesthesia, although I often use them in combination to optimise and enhance patients' peri and post-operative experience.
I am dedicated to putting the patient first through the provision of safe and reassuring care delivered in conjunction with my colleagues and associates.
I was present at the inauguration of the Helsinki Declaration in June 2010. This enshrines the values essential to the promotion of the highest professional and safety standards expected of anaesthetists. It is my hope to match or even exceed the expectations of patients who place their trust in me.
