Dr Uncles spent great time and care to prepare me for the process that I was about to face with the result that I little or no reservations. I felt that the level and clarity of communication was greater than I would have expected. It was interesting that Dr Uncles predicted what I would experience very precisely and this was exactly what took place, leaving me very reassured that everything had gone to plan. I was impressed that he spent time after the operation to review my experience, again a level of care which was greater than I would have expected. Dr Uncles has a very pleasant bedside manner which is guaranteed to put one at ease.

I was very worried I wouldn't be totally under with sedation Dr Uncles reassured me and that I wouldn't know a thing and he was right. Listened to all I had to say and alleviated all fears.

I am a specialist Anaesthetist with interests in Obstetric, Ambulatory and Inpatient anaesthesia. I employ a variety of anaesthetic techniques including general or regional anaesthesia, although I often use them in combination to optimise and enhance patients' peri and post-operative experience.
I am dedicated to putting the patient first through the provision of safe and reassuring care delivered in conjunction with my colleagues and associates.
I was present at the inauguration of the Helsinki Declaration in June 2010. This enshrines the values essential to the promotion of the highest professional and safety standards expected of anaesthetists. It is my hope to match or even exceed the expectations of patients who place their trust in me.
