Dr Fox inspires trust and confidence through his obvious skill and knowledge; most importantly, he communicates in a clear, personable and reassuring manner that encourages a positive approach to a very difficult situation.
My experience of other staff in his unit has been equally positive. Communication with, and by, other wards whilst patients are under the latter's care could be improved.

Dr Fox was able to identify my condition promptly. It was then explained in terms I could follow and understand. The investigation process was professionally completed and after Dr Fox had explained the options for a solution, a course of treatment was prescribed.
To date the treatment has been successful.
(The only problem experienced was the slow receipt of test data from the radiology department at the Alexandra BMi Hospital which should have been available for a consulatation with Dr Fox.)

Very easy to make an appointment with. Excellent manner and went to great lengths at our first appointment to introduce me to associated specialists to look at potential diagnosis. Good follow up.
Excellent service from both Mary and Clare when needing help and creating follow on appointments.
Dr Fox, listened and and advised a course of treatment that is working well and helped me return to full employment.

Dr Fox is one of the best specialists I have met, he was very clear in his treatment for my irregular heart beat. He fully included me at every point, he is very easy to talk to and when it came to my procedure in which an oblation was performed he was just amazing. Made it clear what was happening and made sure I was reassured at every stage. His staff were also fantastic so would totally recommend

Dr David Fox is a highly experienced cardiologist/electrophysiologist in Manchester and has been a consultant for over 10 years.
He spent a period of his training at one of the worlds premier heart rhythm institutes (University of Western Ontario, Canada) working with pioneering cardiologist Professor George J Klein, the author of over 500 medical publications.
Dr Fox specialises in the treatment of all heart rhythm disorders and carries out over 220 ablation procedures annually and has a particular interest in atrial fibrillation ablation (pulmonary vein isolation). He also is fully trained in all aspects of pacemaker/ICD implantation.
He is the lead for cardiac rhythm services at Wythenshawe Hospital, Manchester and runs the annual audit program to ensure high levels of safety in and quality of the atrial fibrillation ablation program.
