Our little girl was in hospital to have grommets in ears. She was very anxious and didn't come round from anaesthetic very well at all. She also had problem with heart. Throughout all of this Dr Marshall was very professional but equally very caring, and took time to talk to us afterwards about the whole situation. He was obviously an extremely busy man, but nothing was too much trouble for him, and he explained everything in lay mans terms and answered all of our questions which reassured us. Would love to have him looking after me when I go into hospital soon.

Chris and his team were extremely friendly and made me feel at ease before my first ever operation. I was terrified to be put under. I no longer have a fear of general anaesthetic and would be more than happy for Chris to be my Consultant again! Thank you very much Chris!

I was really nervous to have my tonsils out because I’ve never had an operation or been put under general anaesthetic before and the thought terrified me. Chris and his team were really friendly and made me feel at ease and safe. I no longer have any fears about being put under general anaesthetic again. I woke up feeling like I had been asleep and like nothing happened. When I woke up in the recovery room I was surrounded by nurses and then quickly sent to the ward to have some rest and be sent home. However, I would have liked to speak to someone who was in the surgery to ask how it went and answer some questions I had. If I were to have another operation, I would like to have Chris as my consultant anaesthetist again. Thank you very much Chris!
